Located in the heart of the old town, near the Notre-Dame basilica and the Hospices de Beaune, the Maizières abbey hotel which dates from 12th century, is a character hotel with old-fashioned furniture and typically Burgundian atmosphere.
The heritage day were created in 1984 by the minister of culture. They take place each year, on the 3rd weekend of September, all over France. In 2010, this weekend will be on September 18 and September 19.
