Le Cassissium is the great museum of blackcurrant in Burgundy. You will learn everything about blackcurrant and will participate to different tastings.

Take the time to walk around the museum of blackcurrant. Learn everything about it and taste the blackcurrant cream.

Discover “la Route du Cassis”. From the Hautes Côtes to the plaine of la Côte de Nuits, 40 kilometers of authenticity. By bike, car or foot taste blackcurrant:

• Walks: the track will guide you to a typically Burgundian landscape, with many wine producing villages.
• Visits and tasting at the producers: In a friendly environment, they will tell you all the making secrets.
• Gastronomy: the chefs will propose you a large choice of menus and desserts based on blackcurrant.

Gardening lesson: discover all the useful advices to cultivate blackcurrant
Beginning of the 20th century: learn the epopee of the blackcurrant cream
Perfume: the wonderful smell of this plant is used in many perfumes.

Wake your taste buds: different type of food  done with blackcurrant (marmalade, yoghurts, sweets, drinks...)
The bar Cassissium: taste the blackcurrant cream. The youngest will taste the blackcurrant syrup.

This price includes: free visit of the museum, video projection, guided visit of the company Védrenne, and a tasting.

Schedule
From April 1st to November 19: Open every day (even on Sundays and holy days) from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 7pm. Last visit of the morning: 11:30am of the afternoon: 5:30pm.
From November 20 to March 31: open from Tuesday to Saturday (except holy days) from 10:30am to 11:30am and from 2pm to 5:30pm. Last visit of the morning: 11:30am of the afternoon 4pm.
