But it was a long time before the Roman times while visiting the Museum of the wines in the old Hotel of the Dukes of Burgundy, you will learn that wines and history have often been mixed for centuries.

Your program:

First day: Beaune

  • Arrival in Beaune. It has become today the turning place for wines . Beaune is a town of remarkable art with its old glazy-roofed houses and its ramparts. Visit by your own of a cellar and winetasting at the end of the visit.
  • Visit by your own of a cellar and winetasting at the end of the visit. Then Visit by your own of the Hospices de Beaune founded in 1441 by Nicolas Rolin, The chancellor of Burgundy, a masterpiece of Burgundian-Flemish art with its multicoloured bled roofs.
  • Dinner and then transfer for the Casino in the spa of Santenay.
  • Return to Beaune and accomodation at the hotel.

Second day: Beaune

  • Breakfast at the Hotel.
  • Guided Visit of the Moutarderie of Beaune. Lunch time : wine and cheese or pork-butcher’s meat tasting in a cellar or in a restaurant.. Visit by your own of the Musée du vin settled in the ancien hotel of the Dukes of Burgundy in a district of old and rich houses. You will be free in the afternoon and be able to complete your visit and do your last errands.

The price include:

Accomodation based on a double room in a 2, 3 or 4 star hotel according to your choice of category, half board, tourism tax, tasting on day 2, visits and tastings as outlined in your program, coach.

Not included are:
